Weil Studio implemented the vision of Andre Kikoski and Robert A.M. Stern for the 1280 Fifth Avenue lobby as a 44-foot long gentle transition from Fifth Avenue and Central Park into a space that filters light through an alabaster-inspired art glass wall. The brilliant limestone flooring and undulating ceiling surround the lobby in designed restraint. A blanket of East Indian Laurel wood adds the perfect warming contrast and tailored complement to these elegant architectural surfaces. The parchment-colored leather and Laurel wood-paneled concierge station greets residents and guests in luxury and comfort.

1280 Fifth Avenue’s reception begins here where a round-the-clock full-service concierge is on call to carry out any request quickly and courteously. Other conveniences, like available personal storage space and on-site valet parking, add to this graceful tone.
